Sony today announced two new PS3 models – a 160GB PS3 system, which will be available as a standalone for $299 and a 320GB version, which will be included in the PS3 Sports Champions Move bundle.

Previously only announced for Japan, the 160GB version is available now in US  and will coming to Europe in October, for 299 Euros.

The 320GB PS3 system will hit store shelves on September 19, in conjunction with the launch of PlayStation Move and will includes one PlayStation Move motion controller, PlayStation Eye camera, a copy of Sports Champions on Blu-ray disc, and bonus Blu-ray game demo disc– all in one complete package for $399.99 (MSRP) for US and 349 euros for Europa.

Sony extends its Walkman line-up with the new NWZ-E350 Series Video MP3 Players, which feature extended battery life and is available in two capacity versions 4GB and 8GB.

Sony Walkman NWZ-E350 Series Walkman comes with 2-inch TFT display (320×240 pixel resolution), utilizes Sony’s “Clear Audio” technologies, “for clear, deep sound without distortion”, has a new user interface with  “Album Scroll” and “Scene Scroll” functions and offers up to 50 hours of audio playback (mp3 files at 128 kbps) and 10 hours of supported video playback (WMV at 384 kbps). The player supports MP3, WMA, AAC and WAV (video) and WMV (video) and featuring Sony’s SenseMe technology, which automatically categorizes music tracks in a connected library into a variety of music channels and playlists.

The E Series Walkman will be available next month in three color options – blue, red, and black and NWZ-E353 model,  with 4GB memory will cost you $70 and $80 for an 8 GB version, model NWZ-E354.

New range of Touch-Screen based Power-over-Ethernet Computers have been unveiled by SkinnyBytes. The Gainward announced today a new own designed GeForce GTX 460 graphics card, that wears the badge “Golden Sample”, which is factory-overclocked and boasts a “Frankensteined” implantation of 2GB of GDDR5 memory.

The Golden one uses a GF104 architecture with factory over-clocked GPU at 700MHz and 1,800MHz for 2 GB GDDR5 with 256 bit memory interface and according Gainward, this is more than 33% boost from standard 192 bit GTX 460. The video card comes with Gainward Grand Prix (GP) Heatpipes Cooler, a 6 mm copper-water heat-pipes on a copper base, ventilated by 80mm double-ball-bearings fan, HDMI, Dual DVI,VGA ports and Fail-Safe Gainward “Expertool” over-clocking utility, to fry it.

Gainward claims that GTX 460 2GB “Golden Sample” outperforms 18% than HD5850, and 32% than HD5830 in DirectX11.

The price of the new graphics card is still unknown.

The second largest vendor in the PC market, Acer, announced today its new gaming desktop personal computer, the Acer Aspire “Predator”. It is equipped with the finest processor, graphics and memory technologies to assure it is ready for intensive games at the very beginning.

The Aspire Predator by Acer is a monster machine, equipped with the Intel Core i7 quad core processor, nVidia GeForce GTX470 Graphics Card with a three-way SLI support, and the amazing 9 gigabytes of DDR3 memory. The RAM memory can also be expanded to 12GB for maximum performance.

The new laptops comes with Intel Core i5 processors and Intel HM55 chipset, Intel HD graphics (FR600) and nVIDIA GeForce GT 325M with 1GB VRAM(FX600), up to 4GB of DDRIII 1066 MHz RAM, a 2.5-inch 250/320/500GB hard drive, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth V2.1+EDR, 4 in 1 card reader, HD webcam,  four internal speakers six cell battery and runs Windows 7 Home Premium. Furthermore they have chiclet keyboard, raised multi-point touchpad and brush finish metal hotkey. There are as well and MSI’s GPU Boost technology, ECO Engine Power Management System,  and Cinema Pro technology. But no word on pricing.

Magellan has unveiled a new eXplorist handheld GPS devices, extending their award-winning, rugged GPS series. The new models have codenames eXplorist 510, 610 and 710, each of them has a 3-inch touch-sensitive display, high-sensitivity GPS,  a 3.2 mega-pixel camera with auto-focus, microphone and speaker to record geo-referenced images, videos, and voice notes.

The new GPS devices are waterproof (IPX-7) and come preloaded with “the most detailed worldwide map in the industry”- Magellan’s World Edition map, which contains the complete road network for U.S., Canada, Western Europe and Australia. The new Magellan eXplorist GPS devices will be available to consumers worldwide in the 4th quarter, 2010. The prices are as follow : 510 $349.99, the eXplorist 610 $449.99, and the eXplorist 710 $549.99.

A Personal Photo Scanner and Converter that is able to scan print photos up to 8 1/5 x 11 inches large was announced today by Pandigital.

The Pandigital Personal Photo Scanner and Converter weighs at less than a pound and can convert print photos into digital images without the requirement of a personal computer, by simply saving the scanned photos on the included SD flash card, or other accepted memory cards like MS, MS Pro, MMSD and XD.
